Verklampt

Description

What to do with test articles, early versions, and proofs of concept? In my case, I decided to make a sculpture. It is called “Verklampt”.

There are 37 clamps mounted on a frame made of the off-cut boards from making the clamps. Many more boards and clamps were consigned to the fire pit. The level interfaces were custom designed and 3D printed.

The history starts at the bottom with the very first clamp I made for Jayne. At the top is an all-3D printed one that was a proof of concept. The central light pole is one that I made in the late 1970s.
